"We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately." A Truth from Dr. Benjamin Franklin, from which Rich & Poor and LEFT & RIGHT can prosper. However, Truth sets us free only when we claim, embrace, own and live it. Thorny though it may be, "to thine own self be true," and honor will govern your stride, and inspire all you meet. Now why can't Banks understand that?

"We hold these Truths to be self-evident," our food is killing us and the Corporations who produce it, know it.  The Electric car and other cleaner and less expensive sources of energy have been denied us for decades by those reaping the financial spoils of automobile manufacturing and "drill, baby drill."  Dick's Bush League threw our youth in harms way for oil, calling it patriotism, and now Dick wants us to thank GW for the privilege. ENOUGH!

Now, "Let us Begin" rejecting all suggestion of the kind of oversimplification practiced by such men, and forget their excuses and revisions of history. Stop the search for villains to crown or heroes to raise us up. It's just us. Proclaim to the greedy and power hungry who yet try to misdirect us with fear:  We recognize you for what you are and what you have done. We know and bear your shame.  We see your weakness: You care not for the people, but now that you're back in the shadow from wince you came, the people are free to reign again.

The True hero of "Change We can Believe In" is the unyielding Middle Class, crying out from the wilderness, where the RIGHT people abandoned them. Though bloodied by Banks and Corporate greed, the Middle Class is returning with a renewed strength of character and the promise of exposing & erasing from our present & future, all disdain & shame heaped upon us from the RIGHT.  Their courage must be our battle cry to "Speak Truth to Power." "Oh say can you see" the politicos race in survivor mode, to televise face saving distortions, for fear their future appearances may be from less comfortable venues, wearing distinctly limited fashion statements.

Truth goes beyond questioning authority, when we reclaim the authority to govern our government. Voting on election day is essential, but it's no longer enough. As True patriots, we need to require justification for re-election from each member of Congress. No more free lunch at our expense, nor free ride on the back of the ever increasing uninsured. So too, we will hold to the fire, the feet of Corporate puppeteers who control Congress, by pulling them out of the shadows of secrets and lies, and "Into the Light."  "Hear ye, Hear ye" Resolved: the wedding of Congress & Corporations has been crashed. The Party's Over and "All Are Punished!"

Our secret weapon: Those who own & run Corporations, are outnumbered by those who work for the people who own & run Corporations, so "We the People" can Change Corporations from within, by changing our priorities. The Conservative RIGHT need only teach the Progressive LEFT how to "Just say NO."  Only this time in favor of the health and stability of Middle Class families, as opposed to fueling the goals of Corporate Lobbyists.

Start with supporting Dennis Kucinich as he teaches our new President how to lead us into a period of justice and equality for all, beginning with "Medicare for All." Next, demand new regulations for inspection of how our food is processed from original source to family dining rooms; Transfer all our money from banks to our local Savings and Loan; Turn off talk radio and TV pundits, and rediscover the euphoria of thinking for ourselves, and beyond ourselves again.

Finally, and most importantly, find out how you or a teacher, doctor, community leader you know, can get elected to Congress, where, as that almost extinct rarity: an honest politician, you can bid Executive Board Members of Corporations, "Peace Be Still."
